Mark Wilson

Dr. Mark Wilson is interested exploring the intersection of human health outcomes and environmental exposures. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and is formally trained in Toxicology and human health risk assessment. The foundation of his research focuses on the reconstruction of exposure scenarios based on analytical results from environmental sampling. He has been involved in population-based environmental and toxicological evaluations related to chemical exposures in post-disaster situations (i.e. hurricanes and marine oil spills). His current work is focused on determining the magnitude and duration of chemical and physical agent exposures following WUI fires and the evaluation of the effectiveness of exposure mitigation strategies.
