In this course, we will explore various material options available to the design professional as well as provide practical solutions that designers may want to consider when specifying a product that can offer sustainability, durability, and even promote a healthier environment for people. Additionally, the design professional will learn more about HDPE, including its attributes, composition, design options, and sustainable contributions. We'll also take a look at why product transparency and responsible manufacturing are important considerations when specifying a sustainable product that is able to reduce energy consumption, recycle waste materials, and offer other benefits to the environment and its occupants.
