Kristen Blankenship

For the past 19 years, Kristen Blankenship has worked in the coatings industry, sharing her skills and knowledge for a variety of different coating, chemical, and material manufacturing companies. Blankenship received her start focusing on defect analysis at Red Spot Paint in Evansville, TN. There, she became a UV curable coatings formulator and was able to move upwards, eventually winding up at Cytec Industries, Inc. (now Alenex) as a technical service chemist, specializing in waterborne liquid coating resins. Her unique approach to formulation with a focus on structure-property relationships can be attributed to all the experience Blankenship has amassed over nearly 2 decades. In January 2013, Blankenship accepted the position of technical service at AGC Chemicals Americas of Exton, PA. After spending three years working with LUMIFLON resins in the lab, she moved into a business development role. Today, Blankenship supports strategic accounts in developing high performance coating technology based on LUMIFLON FEVE resins. Kristen Blankenship holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Evansville.
